GRATITUDE

Hands at Work's staff and volunteers inspire hope and goodness in so many people who have committed to partner with them in the great task of caring for thousands throughout Africa, one person at a time.These are generous and inspiring people who give of themselves each day, and live and serve selflessly with amazing strength and love. They have a goal of reaching and caring for 20,000 orphans by 2010. An incredible yet daunting goal. As they sang "Never Give Up" to our team each day, so they will achieve this goal with God's grace.

Westside King’s Church has committed to partnering with Hands at Work to help them reach this goal. They send teams four times a year to South Africa and Zambia, and will soon join Hands in other countries. Those in leadership who have been a great support in preparing teams to go are to be commended for their commitment to building capacity with our partners rather than simply bringing relief.

The teams that I’ve been blessed to travel with have been a great inspiration and encouragement to me. We have seen and experienced much together, and they have taught and loved me through these interesting times.

Thanks to all who have supported me and shared in my journeys, and everyone who does their part to help Africa in its time of need, whether prayerfully, inspirationally, financially, or physically.
